VW JETTA Mk2 charge warning light on

VW JETTA Mk2 entered with charge warning light on.

Could it be an alternator problem?

The alternator belt simply flew off.

There is no pulley lock for the alternator or compressor.

Alter looks quite old though...

This time we decided to replace only 3 drive belts!

There are no problems with charging voltage and current.

It would be a good idea to replace the alternator and battery as soon as possible.

The charge warning is also turned off!
